Religion

Coming from Scandinavia, I'm also from the region of the world with the most non-religious people percentage of a country's population. Although being baptized, I'm not very religious. Walking on water is not that amazing, as I do it every winter. Jokes aside, if I have a call at all concerning religion, it is to make you think it through properly.

Why is it that you believe so much in God, or Allah, or Buddha, or what God-you-ever believe in. What has your God ever done to help you? Have you ever met this God face to face? How come you've gone through so much shit, if you're the most beautiful person I know? Does your God really love you if you've gone through whatever shit you've gone through? I ask these uncomfortable questions to make you think your reasons through. Those who can answer these questions confidently, or even admit that some of it is not rational, those I respect. They've experienced something they may have looked through all the books in the world on the topic without getting a scientific reason, and because of that, they've turned to religion.

Those who're just Christian or Muslim because their parents are, I don't really think all that highly of. Just going with the flow is very uncool these days, and even potentially dangerous. Going with the flow is something to preserve ones mental health. It's a numb state where your emotions aren't really that active, or doing otherwise may cost your life. You who live in a rich country with freedom of speech, with a legal system that protects you, think your faith through. Every religion demands that you really believe, and if you don't you don't have the right to call yourself whatever term associated with said religion.

I remind you of the fact that I'll not tolerate comments very off topic, and manage the comments on those criteria. In other words, comments and criticism on topic, is OK, purely off topics ones' don't, and the rest I'll moderate to some degree.
